Dobrý den nádherní přátelé! I would be remiss if I failed to credit Google Translate for the preceding greeting. Please feel welcome to Czech my spelling. Sorry, I couldn’t help it.
A fun one this morning with a not particularly subtle message of importance. While I am blessed to live in a place with clean air and plentiful trees, a bounty of water and supermarkets teeming with delectable prepackaged diabetes. I’m not quite so naive as to miss the generalized suffering and scarcity that exists throughout much of the World. There isn’t a lot I can do to alleviate those stresses, but among my tiny contributions, writing on the perfection of nature is my favorite.
It’s called, Barking, April 10, 2018.
Trees are much more than just sticks and leaves
Filtering the air for all that breathes
Acting as a home for smaller chums
Squirrels and monkeys or birds that hum
Providing much nourishment as well
Giraffes certainly think they are swell
Climbing so far up into the sky
Great times from when I was a small guy
Still the numbers diminish each day
Avarice over life’s here to stay
Sustainability is the key
Stopping forests becoming empty.
I really liked playing in trees. There was one particular outside of an old home I was especially fond of. Very well positioned perches. Then again, I’ll say that to any sapling to wave a branch at me.
As always, your interest earns my extreme gratitude. Thank you so much for taking the time to dip a toe into the gentle cove of quasi-madness. Come on in, the water’s warm:)

maybe we can go tree climbing sometime. At my age perhaps best to put a trampoline below my branches!

true, too many empty forests with too many empty people in them, listening too late
