No foreplay today my friends, skipping directly to the penetrating narrative. Please use protection, I recommend a mild sedative.
I’ve actually kept things relatively light today, being somewhat aggrieved with the planet this morning something possessing of levity felt appropriate. And, HEY, JUPITER… you know what you did.
Since I have been writing with the near frenetic pace of Stephen King midway through a coke binge, we’ll be enjoying two pieces today. The first is a new favourite from very recently. Bon appetite!
“Clue Colours Shining”, June 19, 2020.
Gentlest blue, soft as rabbit down
Crisp greens like freshest salad
Earthen browns, worms abode
Daring crimson a frustrated chittering
Staggering gold infuses celestial brilliance
Regal purple delightedly opening to heaven’s gift
A mellifluous silver tune carries lithely on the soothing wind
While ivory and velvet puffy explosions
Craft hauntingly vivid scenes among other myriad shades.
While not surpassingly clever the numerous different meanings I find quite pleasing. Primarily within the final line.
Alright, we covered the terrestrial let’s move, (to infinity and), beyond. Mangia!
“Dark Side of the Boon”, June 9,2020.
Numerous and iridescent
Hazy waves of coloured lines
Each in its way acquiescent
To universal designs
Ellipses, matter, gravities
Components of noble plan
Blackholes spawn immense cavities
Impressive in their broad span
Complicated and essential
Astrophysics found theories
And harnessing key potential
Will prolong running series
Never been more fundamental
To unravel cosmic knot
But can’t be too compartmental
Determining abstract thought
Escaping Alcatraz or earth
Might seem a daunting burden
But endeavouring your rebirth’s
A long-established guerdon.
Who had to search guerdon for a definition? Zero shame, it’s fringe AF. Anyone catch the math jokes? Again, I can hardly cast aspersions for not, they’re asymptomatic.
May you all be blessed and redeemed in the loving arms of The Gourd. Share love, dear Pumpkin, and you’ll not be squashed.
Happy Trails and Waggy Tales!
